Aaaamazingly cute band, with very witty lyrics, just listen. All the animals are looking for action... This is a song I really can identify myself with. They talk about the future like there's some way to control it. But the truth is, we should really just live our life to the fullest everyday. Last day was a perfect day. And it did had something to do with the fact that I was out running. And later taking a night walk with a good friend. Under the stars, smoking in the graveyard. And nobody's worse for the wear.

Ok so someone unexpected said hi =) And I will link one of his bands later, just because. Yes, one: he's in three bands, how amazing is that!! Anyway, my sister wont stop listening to this song and it's really beautiful, despite the cheezy, unimaginative lyrics. As for the artist, I have no idea, but apparently someone a lot of Gossip Girl viewers know of since their silly little AMV's are all over youtube with this song as the soundtrack. Just listen, don't think. Close your eyes and drift away...
I Am Wolverine
Han kan sjunga, han kan dansa, han kan hosta biljonevent. He is the sexiest man alive. He is Wolverine. Lyssna igenom hela, det är ju helt fucking otroligt. Jag har fastnat totalt. En hel vecka nu, med bara Hugh Jackman filmer. Australia + all 3 Xmen + The Prestige + Deception + anything I can get my hands on. Så därför lägger jag upp detta, för att peppa inför fredagens release av Wolverine, som såklart ska ses på premiären. 100% Jackman. And just as a sidenote: I'll never get married.
The colours red and blue
Ny passion: The Knife. Skäms lite över att jag inte uppmärksammat denna svenska electronic-duo (syskon faktiskt) tidigare. De är ju asballa. Måste kolla upp Fever Ray nu också, systern i duon:s spinoff. Hade ingen aning om att de gjort orginalet till en av de bästa sångerna någonsin. Heartbeats har varit med mig through fire and brimstone och den kommer alltid vara en av mina absoluta favoriter ever. José Gonzales version är den jag lyssnat på hittills men älskar retro-känlsan i både låten och videon.
Hello little boys, little toys
Denna typ av musik lyssnar jag på när jag inte orkar med djupheter: när jag bara vill fly in i mitt personliga, ytliga Malibu. När plastic fantastic, super tan, electro crunk och Malibu biaaaatch är allt som existerar. När man hellre dansar runt och fular sig än konfronterar jobbigheten/verkligheten. Okej, inte jättehälsosamt, men musiken äger. Think Hyper Crush, LMFAO, Jeffree Star, The Millionaires and Shiny toy guns. Shiny toy guns är relativt ny-upptäckt för mig, jämfört med de andra som jag haft med mig sedan tre år tillbaka. Att jag kom in på detta spåret beror på undvikandet av plugg och tittade på Made och The City (som förövrigt har killer soundtrack varenda episod!!). Me like.

Trevlig gårdagskväll med The other Boleyn girl, tuborg, dropkick murphies på vinyl, och en massa prat. Jag kom också på att jag vill ha en vinylspelare och köpa massa old-school cool lp editions, det låter ju så bra på vinyl, det känns megaballt att ta i de där stora stenåldersplattorna OCH det är mycket mer cred om man är musiknörd. En annan sak jag kom på var att jag älskar White lies. Tyvärr har inte lika mycket pluggande som musik-lyssnande pågått. Men tjong tjohej - nu ska jag lyssnar på Pink Floyd och Van Halen och dansa på mina nyinförskaffade kryckor!!

Ok, can't make out anything he sings BUT det låter förfan bra!! Kollat igenom Hultsfreds-artisterna (www.rockparty.se) och det ser ju ut att bli en riktig pangfestival! Ser framemot Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand, Regina Spektor, Cyndi Lauper, White lies, Hello Saferide, Yo Majesty, Sonic Syndicate, Dead by April, Erik Hassle och nu även Dan Black då - som tydligen är ekonomiprofessor i Boston. Intressant. Och intressant röst. Nya MIka kanske - eftersom den snubben har gått o gömt sig någonstans.

So I might be a bit late to the phenomenon The Ting Tings. Silly name. And this song: That's not my name. I hated it the first time I listened, but unfortunately it came up on the playlist again and now I just can't get it out of my head. It is kinda catchy, don't you think? The thing I like the least is the silly "ame, ame, ame" - guess what, it sounds LAME. The thing I like the most is her style. And maybe the catchiness. It's defintely a shower song. Makes Shower Top 10. Yeah.
